Meng Choon started his career in 1996 with IBM Global Services as part of IBM's campus hire program and spent the next 11 years in IBM across technical, consulting, business development, direct and indirect sales management role. Over the next 6 years, he led new business units and sales teams in Sun Microsystems / Oracle Systems and HP/Autonomy, covering Financial Services, Media and Communication, Professional Services, Retail and Distributions sectors across Singapore and the South-East Asia region.

In between his corporate careers, he cofounded Orange Gum Pte Ltd, a mobile gaming and enterprise messaging services company and spearheaded the Product Development, Operations and Technical Support Services effort during the startup phase. Successfully acquired by Soprano Design, a global enterprise messaging provider in 2008 and he was re-appointed as a consultant, responsible for Regional Sales Operation, Market Development, Strategy, Solution consulting and Project Management for the strategic accounts.

Eyeing the opportunities in the shifting and consolidation trends in the software market - he started software and consulting practice DA.PO AUGURY in 2012, targeting the financial services and telecommunication sectors in the region, focusing on web and enterprise content management solutions, enterprise and mobile software integration services, business intelligence ETL and visualization services.

To further develop his professional and domain knowledge, he is also appointed as an Associate Faculty and Course Developer at SUSS (UniSIM) School of Science and Technology and School of Business, focusing on Enterprise Systems and Integrated Business Processes, Web / Data Programming and Accounting Information System courses. 

In 2017, he was appointed as an advisor to RAF Holdings - a online-to-offline InsurTech group and act as the CTO for finally.sg - an b2c insurance service aggregation platform provider.
