We believe that the key to deliver any good piece of work starts with a simple plan.
So what we have adopted as our methodology to work with our clients is a concise 5 step framework that allows us to gain a good understanding our client’s needs and develop a solution towards it. Here at auguried, we call it EDIFY – meaning to instruct and improve.
Starts by gaining an understanding of our client’s operating environment. What kind of business are they in. What is their purpose, the industry dynamics, their goals, their challenges, who are the movers and shakers, who are players. How this business operates and what keeps it going.
Find out who’s setting the bar. Research and understand who sets the industry benchmarks, what are the most common practices, what are the pitfalls. From there we take a snapshot of the organization’s current state and identify what is the next strategic intent of the organization.
Learn what the leaders do best and what has the sub optimal has done. Internalize what the organization would like to strive towards and how ready they are. Identify where the oasis of opportunities are and decide whether to compete, avoid or flank.
Take the steps and work the plan to get to where the ideal state is. Enhance and innovate from the current strengths. Rectify or even abort from the current practice.
Adapt along the journey and track towards the improve state. Take stock again and review the results. How have the journey been and what has been achieved. Align the business expectations and plan for next.
